About Stefanie

Stefanie Herrington grew up in Portland, Oregon, and received her B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She was an editor for multiple newspapers, including the Boulder Daily Camera.

Stefanie received her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Oregon Law Review. She also co-founded an online legal journal, served on the board of a public interest group, and edited multiple legal books. Stefanie interned for a litigation firm, a business law firm, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. 

Prior to establishing Bartlett & Herrington in Carpinteria, Stefanie clerked for the Hon. Daniel M. Taubman at the Colorado Court of Appeals and practiced complex business litigation in Portland. Her legal experience includes business law, including entity formation, drafting and reviewing transactions, and registering trademarks; civil litigation; landlord-tenant law; and estate planning. Stefanie is admitted to the California State Bar and the Oregon State Bar.
